If you are in the Detroit area this restaurant is a HUGE MUST! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. We love Mexican food but this is literally next level. Maricela was our server and not only was she a delight, but also a wealth of knowledge on the food and selections. The ambience and decor add to the incredible experience. I also will note that the cocktails are just as delicious as the food. A complete perfect experience.

Absolutely fantastic!! Definitely make reservations in advance. Everything was perfection. I can’t wait to come back to try more. We had our 8 month old baby with us (no high chairs which I knew in advance so we brought our portable one) and I appreciated everyone being so kind to us! We had the salsa/chips, mole, duck enchiladas, red snapper and the mango tres leches. Highly recommend

Dollar for dollar I don't think you can find a better dining experience in Detroit from Vecino. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out everything was so incredibly well paced and welcoming. The approach to food is elevated, thoughtful, yet homey. I remarked to my dining companion that the dishes felt like what someone's abuelita would cook. Everyone behind the bar and on the floor were knowledgeable, and the cocktail program is truly unparalleled. To have an experience that's so impeccably curated, yet without pretension is so rare. Vecino is a true gem, and a powerhouse for Detroit.

Celebrated our anniversary at Vecino Detroit, and it was a fantastic experience! They made it special with a complimentary sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch. The vegetarian options were excellent—we had the VERDURAS EN MOLE and the Molote, both packed with incredible flavors. The salsas were absolutely to die for, especially the peanut one—so unique and delicious! The mole was top-notch, rich, and perfectly balanced. The dessert was perfect. On top of that, the ambience was warm and inviting. A perfect spot for a special night—highly recommend!
